This was a renovation in Bowden of an old un-used coach house, into a self-contained one bedroom house.

This customer from Bowden had a coach house in their grounds which they used as storage space, and wanted it turning into a guesthouse but retain its original charm.

The floor had to be broken up and removed to allow for a new slab to bring it up to current regulations, then the building was fully tanked and framed to allow for insulation to make this a habitable dwelling. Gas and water supplies had to be run to the coach house and new drains added to allow for the new bathroom and kitchen.

The 1^st floor and stairs were removed and new chamber joists installed, we then fitted the new Oak staircase and moved into a central position to make them a feature of the new open plan living space. A new combination boiler was installed and the whole ground floor had underfloor heating. New wooden windows and a stable door were fitted to keep with the original period of the couch house.
