I can't praise, Tim, Greg and the whole Capitol team enough! We had strong reservations about undertaking such a huge project with a young family but they put our nerves at ease and we had ultimate trust in them and their judgements and weren't let down. Tim's favourite phrase was 'we'll sort it' and they did! On a practical point they were courteous, great with our two year old who is mad on diggers etc, and most of all.. clean! I'm not going to say that dust wasn't created (we did have a huge hole knocked in our house!) but Tim and Greg always did their utmost to keep this to a minimum. We are delighted with the results and we now have the home we dreamed of when we moved in to our house 5 years ago. If you are considering using this firm my advice would be 'go for it'!!!

If Carlsberg did builders…! From the day they arrived to discuss and quote for the job, to the day they completed and left site, I have been nothing short of delighted with Capitol Builders. Tim and Greg’s general attitude and professionalism make them an absolute pleasure to have around and they have done a beautiful job of converting an old stable building into a one bedroom apartment. The work was completed to a high standard, on schedule and within budget. Highly, highly recommended!

Capitol have completed 4 extensions for us over the 15 years - on 2 houses. After the 1st extension it didn't cross our minds to look anywhere else for builders. They consider your needs, as logistically as they can, when planning the order in which the works are completed -a major concern when the building's going on around you. They're clean around the site. Outside never seems ridiculously jumbled - good for relationships with the neighbours - and they're forever tidying up inside. Before they start the build they're full of useful suggestions and ideas for making the space work best for you. They're exceptionally conscientious, don't always leave your job to go and work on others, and their attention to detail is fantastic.

Tim and Greg project managed the re-furbishment of my bungalow to a very high standard. They were professional, punctual, friendly and always went the extra mile to please. They were easy to get on with, listened to what you required and advised on different layouts and fittings. They are very approachable and I still get in touch with them two years later for advice, nothing is too much trouble. There are 4 reasons why I would recommend Capitol Builders and definitely use them again for any future work:- 1. Communication- Tim and Greg spend a lot of time making sure that you understand the processes and how/what they are going to do. As someone who is clueless, I really appreciated how I could understand what was happening and any questions I had, were answered immediately and well. 2. Cost- There were no hidden costs- the cost that was agreed from the outset stayed the same and any extra work we had done, was clearly explained and additional costs agreed. 3. Reliability/ Time- Tim and Greg worked quickly and efficiently and the extension was completed within the expected 3 month window. Any small problems were dealt with without any fuss. 4. Quality of Work- As you can see from the photos on Facebook/the web page, Tim and Greg did a great job with a highly professional finish. Everyone has commented on how fantastic our new kitchen/dining room looks! I am really pleased that we chose Tim and Greg to do the work for us and grateful that, during the 3 months, they made sure that we could still have a 'working' house with running water. I was surprised by how easy they made it look and how they made it stress-free for us.

Greg and Tim did such a good job of my recording studio, that we used them the next month to build our extension/orangery. Cracking lads, honest, hardworking and definitely worth the extra bacon butties we gave them.

Brilliant.... Came out quickly late at night to our broken boiler and heat was restored the next day!!! A multi-talented team that have done lots of bits in our house.
